What type of tree is a "Christmas tree"? How do they grow? How long does it take until the tree is ready to be? How can I tell how old my tree is?

Field trips function as an excellent education tool by allowing children to participate in fun, practical activties in a safe environment. Alouette Tree Farm offers a unique experience that is certain to be a memorable time for all!
Our field trips include:

  • a "hands-on" educational discussion;
  • a train ride on the Alouette Express around the farm;
  • a visit with the little critters at Snowflake Stable;
  • the opportunity to cut down a tree for your classroom;
  • healthy snack and hot drink (fruit and hot chocolate)

We are currently booking field trips from Monday-Friday during the weeks of November 28th-December 9th.
Field trips run at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:30 and 1:30 and are approximately
one hour in duration.
